Hi! I am
David Smith.
Founder of DMS Group of companies
Hi,I'm an entrepreneur. I never really enjoyed the traditional education system. It always felt like I was being force-fed information that I wasn't interested in and that I'd never use in the real world. I found myself feeling trapped in a "rat race," just going through the motions without any real passion or purpose. As an entrepreneur, I've been able to pursue my passions and turn them into successful businesses. It hasn't always been easy, but the rewards of being my own boss and building something from the ground up have been more than worth it. I believe that education doesn't have to be limited to the classroom, and that we can all learn and grow in our own ways. That's why I'm always looking for new opportunities to learn and challenge myself, and to help others do the same. So if you're feeling stuck in the traditional education system and are looking for a way out, don't be afraid to take the leap and pursue your dreams as an entrepreneur. It might not be the easiest path, but it's definitely one of the most rewarding. So, this is a little about me and my journey as an entrepreneur.
backstory of David's Exotics
This is How it started.
I have had a lifelong passion for pets, starting in my childhood when I enjoyed giving my friends guppies and goldfish as gifts. As I grew older and gained more knowledge about pets, people around me began to see me as an expert in the field. When friends and teachers started asking me where they could buy these pets, I turned my hobby into a business, selling fish as a source of passive income during my school years. However, I was encouraged to go to college, which was not in line with my passions. So, I made the decision to drop out of higher education and pursue my true passions. I struggled for a few years, working a 9 to 5 job and learning about the struggles and determination it takes to follow your passions. It was during this time that I also gained knowledge about exotic pets and unique animals that are not commonly found in households. This ultimately led me to start my own business, David's Exotics.
